Tasks & Procedures
The work, and how to do it,
in the same place.
Assign work at your plant, one-off or recurring, each task linked to the asset it concerns and carrying the procedure that covers it.
Every task carries what it needs
A task in Pani knows what asset it's about and what procedure it follows. Whoever picks it up doesn't have to go find either.

Tasks
Every task, and where it stands
A task carries what someone needs in order to act: the asset it concerns, the procedure it follows, and a pointer to the exact page of a document where that's what's required. Then it moves through four states anyone can read at a glance.
Proposed
Suggested work, waiting on someone to vet it.
To Do
Approved and assigned, with the asset and procedure attached.
In Progress
Someone has picked it up.
Done
Closed, and on the asset's history from then on.
Recurring work
Pani creates recurring work on schedule
Rounds, weekly checks and seasonal transitions shouldn't depend on anyone remembering them. Pani creates them on schedule, and you decide whether they arrive ready to do or waiting for approval.
Work that repeats
Daily rounds, weekly equipment checks, seasonal transitions. Pani creates each one on schedule, assigned, with the asset and procedure already attached.
Reviewed before it's real
Default recurring tasks to Proposed and a supervisor vets them first. Nobody walks in to forty auto-created tasks nobody looked at.
Procedures
The procedure travels with the work
Upload the PDF you already have, or write it in Pani. Either way it gets a 255-character summary, and that summary is what appears the moment the procedure is attached to a task or an alert, so nobody opens a document just to find out whether they need it. Have maintenance manuals or old checklists? Attach them, and Pani can help you structure the procedure around them.

Your most experienced operator can't be on every shift, and won't be here forever. Attach their procedure to the work and their judgment goes with it, so the plant runs to one standard no matter who's on.
The procedure, at the moment it's needed
Where the knowledge goes when the operator retires
What happens to a procedure between the person who wrote it and the person who needs it at 3 a.m.
The alert arrives with the answer
The action you wrote is already in it, and the procedure's summary is right underneath.
The task carries it to whoever's assigned
The full SOP is one click away, in Pani, not in a binder in someone's office.
The asset keeps the history
Everything that's been done to it, in one place, whoever did it.
